Senate Thanks Referendum Voters

To the Editor:

Student Senate would like to thank all those who voted on the senate referendum this past fall. The results of the referenda will be made available to the Oberlin community in the mail room, Wilder front desk, and the Mudd library publications table.
The referenda contained 11 questions that were the result of outreach and dialogue by the Student Senate. A minimum of 50 percent of students were required to vote to make the results valid.
It is our intention that the results of this referenda will serve as a platform to begin a common dialogue within the student community and for the development of legislation to actualize common goals. We hope these results will encourage you to participate in and support student organizations, initiatives, and activities.
