April
11, 8:45 a.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to King Building
to assist a student who felt light headed and passed out. The student
was transported to Student Health for treatment.
April
11, 1 p.m. A staff member reported injuring his hand in the stock
room elevator door at the Service Building. The staff member applied
first aid and was advised to seek medical treatment.
April
11, 10:35 p.m. A campus dining employee reported falling on an uneven
sidewalk behind the Security Office, injuring her knee. The staff
person refused medical treatment at the time of the fall.

12, 12:10 a.m. A staff member reported observing three students
on the south side of Hales Gym, one of whom threw a bookbag at the
window, breaking it. The students responsible were located by officers;
the window was boarded until repairs could be made.

12, 11:42 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to Langston
Hall to assist a student who cut her thumb knuckle while washing
dishes. No stitches were required; first aid was administered.

13, 4:30 a.m. A resident of Asia House reported loud music and students
smoking in a room on the second floor. Officers responded and the
subjects were advised to turn the music down, and of the policy
against smoking in rooms.

13, 9:34 a.m. A staff member reported vandalism to the second floor
bridge restroom at Mudd. Ceiling tile was found on the floor and
dirt on and around the sink. A work order was filed for repairs.
April
14, 1:11 a.m. A student reported observing three male subjects break
the light pole globe outside of Burton Hall. A search of the area
was made; subjects had fled the area prior to officer's arrival.
April
15, 8 a.m. A staff member reported the theft of a video recorder
and first aid kit from the Athletic Bus. Make and value of the missing
items was not known at the time of report.

15, 11:30 a.m. A staff member reported damage to the sandstone on
the south side stairwell pillar to Kade. Officers responded and
found the dumpster had been pushed up against the pillar, breaking
the stone.
April
15, 5:42 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer observed a group of
juveniles skateboarding on the south side of Hall Auditorium. The
juveniles were approached and given their last verbal warning.

15, 8:33 p.m. A student reported a suspicious male subject in the
north quad area. Officers responded and located the subject. Oberlin
Police Department also responded and the subject was released with
a warning.

16, 1:07 p.m. A resident reported several students on the roof of
Harkness. Officers responded and advised students they are prohibited
from being on the roof.

16, 7:47 p.m. A staff member reported students on the roof of Langston
Hall. Officers found the roof hatch unlocked and open. The students
were located and advised they are prohibited from being on the dorm
roofs.
April
16, 11:33 p.m. A staff member reported a group of people were breaking
beer bottles on the sidewalk in front of a college rental house.
The group was approached and advised against their actions. All
involved participated in cleaning up the area.
April
17, 1:52 p.m. A staff member requested assistance with an ill student
in the second floor restroom of Bibbins. The student was transported
to Allen Medical Center for treatment.
April
17, 5:40 p.m. A staff member at Wilder DeCafe reported a student
was caught attempting to shoplift. Officers responded and the incident
was referred to Student Life.
April
17, 12:25 a.m. A student reported the theft of her bicycle from
the bike rack at Barrows Hall. The bicycle is a gray, Hardrock mountain
bike, 21 speed, red lettering, valued at $250. The bicycle was unlocked
at the time of theft.
