April 17, 3:37 a.m.
A student reported the theft of a bicycle from the west side of King between midnight and 3:00 a.m., valued at approximately $200. The bicycle was not locked at the time of theft.

April 17, 10:27 a.m.
Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Barrows Hall, third floor. Smoke from dirty oven burners activated the alarm. The area was cleared and alarms were reset.

April 18, 11:23 p.m.
An unknown subject reported skateboarders breaking glass near the bake shop at South Hall. Officer responded and located the juveniles. Only one bottle was found to have been broken. The juveniles were identified and advised to leave the area.

April 19, 1:11 a.m.
A staff member reported glass breaking outside of Langston Hall. An officer responded and found broken beer bottles on the south side. The individuals responsible were not located. A work order was filed for clean up.

April 19, 8:15 p.m.
Officers and Oberlin Fire Department units responded to a fire alarm in the kitchen area of Fairchild. Smoke from burned food in the oven activated the alarm. The alarms were reset with no further problems.

April 20, 2:10 a.m.
Officers were requested to assist with a student, ill from alcohol consumption, in Dascomb Hall. Due to the condition of the student, an ambulance responded and transported the student to Allen Medical Center for treatment.

April 20, 3:09 a.m.
A student reported vandalism to her room door (glue put in the lock) and obscene material taped to the door. The items were removed and a work order was placed to have the locks checked.

April 20, 9:35 a.m.
Officers and Oberlin Fire Department units responded to a fire alarm on the first floor of Harvey. The cause of the alarm was found to be from a malfunctioning detector.

April 20, 7:30 p.m.
A student reported the theft of her bicycle from just east of the Mudd Library ramp sometime between 2 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The bicycle is a Gary Fisher Marlin, yellow with black and red, men’s, 21 speed, unknown value.

April 21, 12:56 a.m.
A resident of South Hall reported the theft of an electric shaver and 100 CDs from his room. The student advised the person responsible for the missing items may be his ex-roommate. Incident is under investigation.

April 21, 1:36 a.m.
Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Baldwin. The cause of the alarm was found to be a malfunctioning smoke detector.

April 21, 4:20 a.m.
An officer on patrol observed a light on in the basement jazz studios. Upon checking the area, three students were found to have entered the building after it was locked. The students were identified and escorted from the building.

April 21, 9:52 a.m.
Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the first floor of Kade. The cause was from a tea kettle left on the stove unattended. The alarm was reset.

April 21, 3:00 p.m.
A student reported the theft of two microphones and a silver Firewire external hard drive from his locker in the Timara Studios at the Conservatory. Value of the missing items was estimated at $180.

April 22, 4:30 p.m.
A student reported his backpack missing from the coat rack at the Oberlin Inn. The backpack was brown leather with a worn red stain and contained personal items, notebooks, a zip disk and 2 CDs.
