Paper Topics on Love
You may answer the following
question as your paper topic on Love, if you should choose to write on
this topic. Papers are expected to be 3-5
pages in length. The final paper is due Monday June 20, but feel free to
turn
in your paper earlier if you like. Also, I strongly encourage rough drafts, so
please come see me (at least!) a few days before you turn your paper to
talk about it. I can also be reached via e-mail.
1. Pick one of the speeches on love in the Symposium. Give a brief
summary of who is giving the speech, and what he (or she) is claiming
about love. Do you agree? Why or why not? Critically discuss. Is
anything in this speech appropriate to our thoughts today on love?
