The following is a compilation of weekly reports from the Department of Security.

March 29, 2:15 a.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Mudd. The area was checked, but a cause could not be found. An electrician responded for repairs.

10 a.m. Staff at the Service Building reported the theft of a cabinet from the Carpenter Shop on March 28. No suspects are known at this time.

March 30, 1:30 p.m. Two student residents of Price Hall reported the theft of items from their room over break. Taken was a joystick, valued at $90 and a program on CDs, valued at $100.

March 31, 12:30 p.m. A staff member reported the theft of a picture from his or her apartment in Harvey during Spring Break. Value of the picture is unknown; there are no suspects.

April 2, 4:30 p.m. Student reported being verbally harassed by another student. Officers conferred with the complaint. Attempts to make contact with the other subject involved met with negative results. Staff at Residential Life and Services was notified of the incident.

6:30 p.m. Officer responded to Old Barrows to assist with an injured student. Upon arrival it was learned that a student had burned her hand after picking up a hot plate. Student was transported to the emergency room for treatment.
