Review did justice to co-ed topic

To the Editor:

I just wanted to thank the Review for making the decision to follow up the SLC [Student Life Committee] meeting with an update on the status of the co-ed rooms proposal. It's a hot topic, and there's no need for students to be ragging on the administration unnecessarily. If this proposal will go through, it will be with a consensus between students and faculty/administration. The update shows how Dean Cole and President Dye support student ideas while bringing more concerns to the discussion. The Review's choice to take an accurate and non-confrontational approach to the update serves this proposal justice, and it has saved it from stirring anti-administration sentiment among students. And just plain thanks for the extra work.
