The following is a compilation of weekly reports from the Office of Security.

Oct. 2, 10:00 a.m. A campus security officer, during a fire inspection, learned that a stove in Kosher Co-op had caught fire on Tuesday evening. Follow up to be completed for further information.

10:40 a.m. A campus security officer transported a student to Allen Memorial Hospital for treatment of an injury. The student had fallen from his bike.

2:00 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of damage to a pole sign on East Lorain Street. The sign was damaged by a semi while trying to turn around.

Oct. 4, 7:40 a.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of graffiti to a college sign in Tappan Square.

11:00 a.m. A campus security Officer assisted an ambulance crew in transporting a staff member to Allen Memorial Hospital for treatment for a back injury.

3:27 p.m. Campus security officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at East Hall. The alarm was activated by steam from showers.

Oct. 5, 1:39 a.m. Campus security officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Burton Hall. The alarm activation was caused by a malfunction in the detector.

3:50 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of a male subject in the women's restroom at Hales Gym. The subject was described as a white male, 5'10, 165, with brown hair. The male left prior to the officer's arrival.

Oct. 6, 12:58 a.m. A campus security officer responded to assist with an ill student at Third World House. The student was transported to Allen Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

1:55 a.m. A campus security officer responded to South Hall to assist with an ill subject. It was decided that the subject would stay with his friend and they would call back if the situation worsened.

6:38 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of a stolen backpack at Mudd. A search of the area was conducted and the backpack was found.

6:40 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of vandalism to a copy machine and clock at Mudd Library.

10:32 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of harassing phone calls received by a student living in North Hall.

Oct. 7, 9:15 a.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of a stolen backpack from a practice room at the Conservatory. The backpack was recovered, however, the wallet was missing along with some credit cards.

12:36 p.m. Campus security officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at East Hall. The alarm was activated by steam from the showers.

Oct. 8, 6:46 a.m. Campus security officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Saunders. The alarm activation was caused by a vaporizer being used in a room.

2:03 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of a sign theft from the Snack Bar. The sign read "Try Our Special Value Meal Deal."

4:00 p.m. A campus security officer responded to the report of a stolen wallet from a locker in Jones Field House. The wallet, which was not recovered, contained $1 and a Visa and a Mastercard.

4:39 p.m. A campus security officer responded to a report of a stolen backpack from Mudd, third floor. A search of the area was made by the security officer, but the backpack was not located . The backpack is a purple army bag and contained a brown corduroy jacket, a checkbook and a wallet.
