Over 80 professors agree to double-sided paper

To the Editor:

14,000 pages were printed in the computing center on the last day of reading period last semester! During the semester about 320,000 sheets of paper were used, which is about 3,600 sheets a day.

Please keep this in mind as the due date of all your papers approaches and print double-sided. Directions for double-sided printing are available in the computer consulatants' office. If you have a printer in your room, remember that you can also print on scratch paper.

Over 80 professors have agreed to accept paper printed double-sided or on scratch paper. Professor lists are posted in the Mac computer lab and the DOS computer lab. We couldn't reach several professors, so if your professors don't appear on the list, please ask them about double-sided printing.

It's also about time to start packing up for the summer, so of course you're going to need boxes, but you don't have to buy cardboard boxes at a ridiculous price. You can get them for free at Stevenson, Talcott, or a co-op. Just ask someone and you'll receive all the boxes you need. Re-using boxes saves cardboard and it also saves your money.

Thank you.
