The following is a compilation of weekly reports from the Office of Safety and Security.

Mar. 3, 2:48 a.m. An officer and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to an alarm at the Oberlin Inn. The alarm was activated by heat from a contractors glue iron.

Mar. 3, 8:55 a.m. An officer responded to a report from an unknown male of smoke in the area of the north Athletic Fields. A large brush pile was found burning. Oberlin Fire Department responded to extinguish the fire.

Mar. 3, 9:49 a.m. An officer responded to a report of an open window in the food storage area in South Hall. There was no damage and nothing appeared to be missing.

Mar. 3, 3:11 p.m. An officer transported a student from Dascomb kitchen to the emergency room at Allen Memorial Hospital for treatment of a lacerated finger.

Mar. 3, 6:15 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff person of two candles burning in a room on the first floor at Burton. The candles were extinguished and brought to the Safety and Security Office.

Mar. 4, 10:25 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff person of a car striking a pole while backing from a parking space in Hales parking lot. There was no damage to the light pole and minor damage to the vehicle.

Mar. 5, 2:12 a.m. An officer transported a student to Allen Memorial Hospital emergency room for treatment after becoming ill from alcohol.

Mar. 5, 3:12 a.m. An officer transported a student to Allen Memorial Hospital emergency room for treatment after becoming ill from alcohol.

Mar. 5, 7:43 a.m. An officer on patrol located two male subjects sleeping in the TV lounge at South Hall. The males were identified and told they were not allowed to enter the buildings unless accompanied by a student.

Mar. 6, 11:20 a.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff person of two spindles broken from the railing on the bandstand. The damage occurred sometimes over the weekend. The value of the spindles is unknown.

Mar. 6, 6:40 p.m. An officer and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to an alarm at Asia House. The alarm was activated by smoke from birthday cake candles.

Mar. 6, 11:13 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a student of a smoldering. smokeršs outpost at Noah Hall. Water was poured inside the post to extinguish smoldering cigarette packs.

Mar. 7, 7:45 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff person of her vehicle being stuck by a college vehicle in Dascomb lot. The vehicle sustained only minor damage and there were no injuries.

Mar. 8, 3:15 a.m. An officer received a report from a student of being approached by a black male, 5š10", wearing disheveled clothing, while outside the Conservatory the day before. The male said he was intoxicated and suggested she walk around campus with him.
