May 3, 7:28 a.m. A staff member requested transportation to Allen Memorial Hospital for an ill staff member at Carnegie.

May 4, 2:48 a.m. An officer on patrol observed trash scattered on the front porch of Tank and the swing broken. A work order was placed for repairs.

May 4, 11:51 a.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Barrows Hall. Dust from the construction crew working in the area activated the alarm.

May 4, 1:26 p.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Kettering. Dust from workers activated the alarm.

May 4, 5:23 p.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a grill fire at Stevenson Hall. The fire was extinguished. There were no injuries.
May 5, 9:13 p.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Price Hall, first floor kitchenette. The alarm was activated by smoke from burned popcorn.


May 6, 9:38 p.m. Officers transported an ill student from Dascomb Hall to Allen Memorial Hospital for treatment of alcohol consumption.


May 7, 4:00 p.m. A staff member reported a hit-skip vehicle accident in the Service Building parking lot. The right side rear quarter panel and rear door were damaged on the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.


May 8, 9:30 a.m. A Museum officer at the Allen Memorial Art Museum reported vandalism to the frame work of the Wright Fountain in front of the Museum. The wooden support for the canvas covering was destroyed. Repair cost is estimated at $300.00.

May 8, 1:50 p.m. A staff member reported receiving medical treatment at Allen Memorial Hospital after injuring his finger while attempting to replace a manhole cover.


May 9, 10:00 a.m. Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Barrows Hall, third floor. Cigar smoke activated the alarm.

May 9, 12:42 p.m. A student reported the theft of her Schwin mountain bike, gray in color, valued at approximately $150.00, from the bicycle rack on the north side of Fairchild. The bicycle was locked at the time of theft.
