Feb. 7, 3:42 p.m. A resident of Lord reported the theft of a textbook, black leather belt, Calvin Klein t-shirt and a pair of brown dress shoes from his locked room.

Feb. 7, 9:45 p.m. A student reported the theft of her bookbag from the Talcott lobby. The bookbag is a North Face bag, green and blue in color and contained a daily planner, two binders with notes and a red Constitutional textbook.

Feb. 7, 9:52 p.m. A student reported the theft of a flute from the Computer Lab in Robertson. The flute is a Hayes C foot and is valued at between $3,000 and $4,000.

Feb. 8, 3:26 p.m. A fire alarm in Barrows was activated by smoke from cooking.

Feb. 8, 3:30 p.m. A student reported her bicycle stolen from outside Mudd Library. The bicycle is a small Huffy, 10 speed, with a bright turquoise seat and handlebars, pink, purple and gray accessories. The value of the bicycle is unknown.

Feb. 8, 5:41 p.m. A fire alarm in Wilder Hall was activated when a pull station was deliberately activated.

Feb. 8, 9:20 p.m. A student reported the theft of his bookbag from the dining area of Harkness. Upon checking the area, the bookbag was located in the basement bathroom with his contents strewn about. A Sony Minidisc player/recorder, valued at $300 was the only item missing.

Feb. 8, 11:33 p.m. A resident of Barrows reported students consuming alcohol on the east side of Barrows. The group dispersed the area upon seeing the officer.

Feb. 9, 12:12 a.m. An officer, while on routine patrol, located a student, ill from alcohol consumption, in the restroom of Talcott Hall. The student was assisted to her room and an RA agreed to check periodically on the student’s well being.

Feb. 9, 12:16 a.m. An officer was requested to assist with a male who fell outside of Asia House. The male was given first aid and transported to Allen Medical Center for further treatment.

Feb. 9, 1:03 a.m. A Security officer responded to a loud noise complaint at Asia House. Upon arrival, students were found to be having a party on the second floor. Several violations were noted and the party was shut down.

Feb. 9, 7:22 a.m. A staff member reported damage to the front glass door of Hall Auditorium. An officer responded and found a handicap sign was used to break the glass. An emergency work order was placed for repair.

Feb. 9, 6:08 p.m. A fire alarm in Baldwin was activated by smoke from burning incense.

Feb. 10, 3:25 p.m. A fire alarm in Kade was activated by smoke from a melted plastic plate.

Feb. 10, 11:27 p.m. An officer responded to the Security Office to assist a staff member who had fallen and injured his ankle. The staff member was transported to Allen Medical Center for treatment.

Feb. 11, 12:41 a.m. A staff member reported a roof leak in the New Science Center. On call staff were notified and responded.

Feb. 11, 10 a.m. A student reported his 27” television, valued at $225 and stereo, unknown make, valued at $100 missing from either East Field storage or Talcott storage. The theft is under investigation.

Feb. 12, 5:47 p.m. A smoke alarm was activated by a malfunctioning detector.
