Students Subpeonaed Regarding September Alleged Sexual Assault

The Oberlin Police department is investigating three students in association with an alleged sexual assault that took place outside Langston Hall on Sept. 15, 2001.

Chief of Police Michael Moorman refused to comment, but a staff member stated that Detective Ortiz was investigating the incident and that one student was believed to have already met with police. According to the College, two College seniors and one junior have been instructed to surrender DNA evidence or face a subpoena. The deadline has not been disclosed.
