Downtown Appreciates Students

On Saturday, downtown merchants will hold Student Appreciation Day featuring a number of special deals and events in order to welcome the student body and express their thanks.
The main event will occur at Gibson’s Bakery from noon to 4 p.m. in which free scoops of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream will be available.
Among many offers that will be given are free scoops of candy for students, as well as the reward of an emerald ring to whomever can recite the best haiku, at Ben Franklin. The Foxgrape will provide free coffee with purchase, and Kotok’s Natural Food Market will offer free tea for two with a café purchase.
