Lets Save Our Paper

To the Editors:

This letter is in regards to the unnecessary number of fliers pointing out that the US is going to war with Iraq.
First, whoever wrote the fliers must think that the campus is stuck in the mid-13th century. Apparently, the poster(s) forgot about the four major TV networks as well as CNN and Fox News Channel, as well as radio, the NewYork Times and various socialist publications spread around campus. Second, why were they posted in so many locations? I saw them everywhere (including bathroom stalls), and even poor innocent trees weren’t spared. Come on, folks—we all know there’s a war coming, and many Obies are either are too busy with approaching midterms to worry about it, or are resigned to its arrival. So pray for your armed forces, because they are going to need it.
