Feb. 14, 8:00 a.m.
Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at the Conservatory. A pull station in the breezeway between the Central section and Robertson was hit by an unknown object, activating the alarm. Electricians were notified for repairs.

Feb. 14, 11:13 a.m.
Residents of Barrows Hall reported two laptop computers missing from a room on the third floor. The laptops were valued at over $1000.00 each. Incident is under investigation.

Feb. 14, 6:54 p.m.
Officers were requested to assist an injured student at Stevenson Dining Hall. The student slipped and fell injuring her wrist. The student was transported to Allen Medical Center for treatment.

Feb. 15, 4:45 p.m.
Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Dascomb Hall. The cause of the alarm was found to be smoke from burned popcorn.

Feb. 15, 7:15 p.m.
An officer while on a routine check of King found graffiti in the south stairwell on the second floor. The graffiti was in black marker. A work order was filed for clean up.

Feb. 16, 12:07 a.m.
A student was transported to Allen Medical Center for treatment of an injured hand. The injury occurred when a case fell on her while loading equipment after a concert.

Feb. 16, 1:14 a.m.
Officers responded to assist an ill student at Dascomb Hall. The student was transported to Allen Medical Center for treatment.

Feb. 16, 2:15 p.m.
A resident of Harkness reported the theft of a laptop computer from a room on the third floor. The Dell Laptop was valued at $3000. Incident is under investigation.

Feb. 16, 2:30 p.m.
A resident of Harkness reported the theft of her laptop computer from her room in Harkness. The laptop is an Apple I Book, value unknown at the time of report. Incident is under investigation.

Feb. 16, 2:00 p.m.
An officer on patrol reported damage to a vehicle parked in the Conservatory Lot. Damage consisted of broken housing on the left wing mirror and the front license plate was pulled off. Contact was made with the owner.

Feb. 17, 5:55 a.m.
A staff member reported a minor motor vehicle accident at the Oberlin Inn parking lot involving a college vehicle. The college vehicle, while backing, struck a parked vehicle.

Feb. 17, 9:00 a.m.
Officers were requested to assist with an injured staff member at Stevenson Dining Hall. The staff member cut her finger while cutting vegetables.

Feb. 17, 9:19 a.m.
A staff member at King reported the theft of a ceiling mounted data projector. A second staff member called to advise of additional projectors missing in two other rooms. The value of the projectors is estimated at $6000 each. Oberlin Police Department was also contacted to respond. Incident is under investigation.

Feb. 17, 11:20 a.m.
Staff from the AV Department reported the theft of a ceiling mounted Sanyo projector from a room in Physics. The projector was valued at approximately $6000. Oberlin Police Department was notified. Incident is under investigation.

Feb. 18, 1:58 a.m.
A resident of East Lorain Street reported loud noise and a male screaming from College Village Housing. Officers responded and spoke with the occupant of the home who advised he had a disagreement with his girlfriend via phone and all was ok at this time. He also agreed to keep the music down.

Feb. 18, 11:02 a.m.
A security officer reported damage to the southwest exterior corner of the 1977 addition of the Allen Art Building. It is undetermined at this time how the damage occurred.

Feb. 18, 11:26 a.m.
A staff member of the Conservatory reported damage to a piano in Robertson. The white ivory facing was removed from one key.

Feb. 19, 9:42 a.m.
A staff member reported the theft of a wooden cabinet from a shop at the Service Building. The cabinet was green in color and valued at approximately $250. Incident is under investigation.

Feb. 19, 5:49 p.m.
A staff member reported an odor of possible marijuana on the second floor of Langston. Officers responded and located the room. Occupant advised he was smoking a cigarette. He was advised of college policy on smoking in dorm rooms.
