Affirmative faux-pas
To the Editors:
I would like to express my personal disappointment in the way in which the
committee that scheduled the Affirmative Action Panel discussion organized or disorganized the
event on 2/19. It is important that during such a discussion, students and faculty be able to express
and support themselves, and not be talked about. If Oberlin prides itself in liberalism, it should
extend beyond a theoretical concept and be put into action.
