Article gone amiss

To the Editors:

Unfortunately, last week the Review published an article titled “Grade Inflation Grips the Nation,” which the editors attributed to me.
Although I had in fact done research on the subject and the quotes found therein were pulled from transcripts of interviews I conducted, I did not write the majority of the copy. The article was essentially the work of the News editors and the by-line should have been attributed to them. I sincerely hope such oversight did not offend the professors and administrators quoted and will not diminish the paper’s reputation.
