Alumni Association praised

To the Editors:

Oberlin is fortunate to have an active and enthusiastic Alumni Association. Alumni from all walks of life participate in a wide variety of activities in support of our beloved alma mater.
These activities take place all across America and in many places overseas. Each September, several hundred alumni return to campus for Alumni Council weekend and have their batteries recharged at faculty and staff presentations, excellent meals and entertainment events.

All this comes about through the efforts of the capable and hardworking staff of the Alumni Office, directed by Midge Brittingham and assisted by Margaret Erikson and Paul Wolansky. These folks do a bang-up job of coordinating myriad programs and meetings that inform alums about Oberlin and encourage their involvement and financial support.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my participation in Alumni Association activities and encourage all alums to get involved.
