The Oberlin Conservatory of Music is a world leader in the training of professional musicians. On January 29-30, 2016, Oberlin commemorates its sesquicentennial anniversary with three performances in Chicago, along with outreach programs across the region.
Oberlin ensembles will debut in two of the Windy City’s premier venues: the Contemporary Music Ensemble at Roosevelt University’s Ganz Hall on January 29 and the Oberlin Orchestra at Symphony Center's Orchestra Hall on January 30.
These concerts feature three soloists with Oberlin roots—cello professor Darrett Adkins ’91, student soprano Olivia Boen ’17, and alumna soprano Marcy Stonikas ’02.
