Format for final
exam
A. 26 Multiple choice; True/False: (1 pt each) Source:
half of the questions will be taken directly from study
guides (Quiz 1-4 & Final). The other half will be variation of
the study guide questions or completely new questions
B. 1 or 2 Fill-in(s): (2 point for each blank - probably
4-7 total blanks). Source: Diagram from lecture
notes
C. 2 Essays: (6 points each) Source: from Finals
essay section of study guide. These questions will probably be
grouped into 2 groups of 2 or 3 questions from which you will need to choose
1.
D. Question about outside readings. There are three parts to
this question. (6 points)

Short description of one of the articles you researched (what was done,
how it was done and why it was done). This description does not need to
address every aspect of the study.

A discussion of the implications of the results to the field of learning
and memory. This could be the authors words or your words.

A discussion of how these results or the author's conclusions support,
extend or even contradict what we've discussed in class (be sure to include
a short sentence of what in our class discussions you are referring
to). This needs to be in your words.
E. Make up a multiple choice question on material that was not covered
in this exam but was covered in the course. (3 points)
