1.What classes were offered at school?
We had English, Math, Spelling, Typing.
2. Were there sports teams?
There were Red and Blue teams for the girls. Basketball and Football for the boys.
3. How did you get to school?
I walked.
4. What kinds of equiptment were in the classroom?
There were desks, and that's about all. Sometimes typewriters too.
5. What did the students and teachers wear to school?
Dresses, skirts, blouses, what have you. The boys wore shirts, ties, sweaters, and that type of thing.
6. What did you do for lunch?
We went home for lunch.
7.What did you do for fun?
We would go by whatever the teachers told us, whatever they had on the agenda.
8. Can you tell me about what your school day was like?
It was like any ordinary school day.
