History
Oberlin's Anime Club is rather young. Mike Lyon, who graduated in the spring of 2001, taught Exco classes on anime for about two years. For the time that he was here, he single-handedly filled the niche of an anime club on campus. Seeing that Mike would soon be graduating, a few students revived the charter of a previous anime club (which had failed sometime in the past) in order to ensure that some permanent structure remained on campus to support anime at Oberlin.
Current Officers:
In addition to the various elected positions, anybody who attends showings may participate in club meetings and decisions. (That's generally how you become an officer.)
