Welcome to OPAC - Oberlin's photo cooperative.

Hands photo with lens
The Oberlin Photographic Association Cooperative, OPAC, is an Oberlin College student organization. Students and local photographers make up OPAC's membership. The co-op provides a place to develop black and white film and photographs as well as access to photographic supplies that can be purchased at low rates.

The workspace, Wilder Student Union rooms 322 and 225, currently houses four enlargers in its two print darkrooms. There is a seperate negative darkroom, as well as chemicals and other support equipment for print and negtive developing. As a member, these spaces are accessible anytime during Wilder building hours.

OPAC membership is roughly $13 per semester. Membership fees pay for the supply of chemicals and the upkeep of equipment. Members have access to discounted rates on the film, paper, and other photographic equipment OPAC sells.
