Structural Deficits: Where the cuts will come

The College plans to cut $3.2 million from its budget in order to close what the administration has called a structural deficit. A budget with almost $3 million in cuts - out of a $90 million budget - will be sent to the Board of Trustees next week. The Board will consider the budget at its March meeting. President Nancy Dye, who released these figures at the Tuesday General Faculty meeting, said the College has not yet decided where the other $200,000 will be trimmed from the budget. Here are where the approximate savings so far are slated to come, by category.
