The following is a compilation of weekly reports from the Office of Safety and Security.

Oct. 24, 6:56 p.m. Campus Security Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Asia House. Smoke from cooking was found to be the cause of the alarm. 9:30 p.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to the report of a theft at the Conservatory. Taken was money and a room key from a practice room.

9:50 p.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to the report of a theft from a Conservatory practice room. Taken was $8.00 cash and a room key.

Oct. 25, 10:00 a.m. Security Officers responded to a robbery alarm at the Oberlin Inn. No cause for activation of the alarm was found.

9:36 p.m. Campus Security Officers responded to the report of a man lying in the middle of Wilder Bowl. It was found that the subject was intoxicated. He was assisted to his residence.

Oct. 26, 2:21 p.m. Campus Security Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Dascomb. The cause of the alarm was smoke from burned toast.

Oct. 28, 11:54 a.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to a report of an attempted theft of a bookbag at Mudd Library. The subject in question was described as a black male, heavy set, wearing a pullover shirt and dark pants.

2:20 p.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to a report if an ill subject at North Hall. The subject was transported to Allen Memorial Hospital for treatment.

2:58 p.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to a report of a theft at South Hall. Taken was a Sony CD player and CD's. Value is estimated at $500.00.

5:10 p.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to a report if a student who was flashed while jogging on the bike path. The flasher was described as a white male, 5'9", 160 pounds, wearing a green sweater and black bandanna.

8:20 p.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to a report of vandalism to the handicap door opener at Mudd. The opener had been dismantled.

Oct. 29, 11:53 a.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to a report of a theft at Mudd Library. Taken was a black and brown Jansport backpack. The backpack was later recovered and returned to the owner.

2:33 p.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to a report of a theft from a Conservatory practice room. Taken were two trumpets, valued over $2000.00.

4:10 p.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to a report of a theft from Barrows Hall. Taken was a Sony Discman in a black case, with headphones. Value $120.00.

Oct. 30, 7:45 a.m. Campus Security Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Dascomb Hall. A malfunctioning detector was found to be the cause of the alarm.

9:40 a.m. Campus Security Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Mudd Library. A floor tile dropped in the Computing Center activated the alarm.

1:50 p.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to a report of a theft from an unknown campus location. Taken was a purse, checkbook and credit cards.

2:10 p.m. A Campus Security Officer responded to a report of a theft from the Mudd Library area. Taken was an Iron Horse bicycle, black with yellow writing. Bike was valued at $250.00.
