The following is a compilation of weekly reports from the Office of Safety and Security.

May 15, 2:10 a.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a theft report of a Macintosh 5220 laptop computer, valued at $1,000 from the third floor of Mudd. Oberlin Police is investigating the report. 1:45 p.m. Safety and Security Officers and the Oberlin Police Department responded to a robbery alarm at the Oberlin Inn. The alarm as activated accidentally. 2:49 p.m. Safety and Security Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a malfunctioning fire alarm on the second floor of Barrows. May 6, 2:21 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a theft report of a Compac 386 Presario Computer valued at $1,900, a Hewlett Packard Printer valued at $250, a Shinton VCR valued at $150 and a Sharp 13Ó colored TV valued at $120, from the basement storage area of Noah Hall. Oberlin Police are investigating the report. 4:08 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of a theft of two planters from the first floor womenÕs restroom in Wilder Hall. 7:45 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of a theft of a white extension cord, valued at $20, from a studentÕs room in South Hall. May 18, 11:40 p.m. A round leather purse containing $250 cash and three personal checks was reported stolen from Harkness Bowl. The purse was later located with all items intact. May 19, 4:51 p.m. Safety and Security Officers responded to a fire alarm on the second floor, east wing of Burton Hall. Dust from the custodial staff cleaning the area activated the alarm. 6:25 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of a theft of a black hip pack containing $12 cash, bank cards, tickets and validine, from the gym at Philips. The hip pack was located, but contents were missing.
