Mindy Manolovich and Don Hunsinger were both named NCAC Coaches of the Year. In only her second season as coach, Manolovich led the women's lacrosse team to the conference championship Katherine Perry-DeLorenzo also guided the team to the championship the year before Manolovich arrived. After reaching the championship last year with only an 8-7 record, this year her team was unbeatable in the conference, sweeping away all the competition on their way to a 14-3 record. The Yeowomen scored 155 goals and allowed only 91. Last year Hunsinger took over as women's tennis head coach in addition to his job as athletic director. The Yeowomen finished with a 13-10 record (4-3 in league). The second-place finish is the highest ever for an Oberlin women's tennis team. It was the first time the team made it to the championship meet. by Jeff Glickman | |
