Safety and Security Officer responded to report of theft of two bicycles at Price. Stolen was Huffy, 26" men's, 21 speed bike, model K6567, value $160. Subjects taking bikes possibly, B/M tall, stocky, White Cap, Khaki Jacket, W/F, short, 105 lbs, short blonde Hair
April 14, 1:20 p.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to report of a stolen bike from Price Hall bike rack. Taken was a black, men's, Huffy, 10 speed, valued at $20.
April 15, 7:15 p.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to report of an injury in Harkness kitchen. Student had burned her arms with a grease cutter. Student was transported to Allen Memorial Hospital, treated and released.
April 16, 1:06 a.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of a suspicous person in the Disco at Wilder Hall. The male suspect was located, identified and advised he is not able to be in any college buildings unless accompanied by a student. The subject was escorted from the building.
April 16, 2:38 a.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to report of harassing phone calls to a studetn by an unknown person. Matter under investigation.
April 16, 9:03 a.m.
Safety and Security officer responded to a Talcott basement fire alarm. Cause was steam from workers in that area.
April 16, 8:41 p.m.
Safety and security officer responded to assist a student who fell in North quad. Student was transported to the emergency room, treated and released.
April 17, 8:30 a.m.
Grounds manager reported dumping of basketball backboard and cement post on North Professor Street without permission.
April 17, 9:44 p.m.
Safety and Security officer and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Wilder. Toaster oven set off the smoke detector. Request was made to move toaster.
April 17, 11:40 a.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of a harassing phone call. Matter under investigation.
April 17, 5:30 p.m.
Safety and Security officer responded to a report of a minor motor vehicle accident in Rice Lot. Parties will handle between themselves.
April 18, 12:42 p.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to report of a dog bite occurring in Wilder Bowl. Owner and dog located. Matter under investigation.
April 18, 2:37 p.m.
Safety and Security officer responded to a report of an injury to a student who had fallen, breaking a window in Barrow's hallway. Student treated and released. Matter under investigation.
April 18, 10:07 p.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of one performing group on stage being disrupted by a second group scheduled to perform at a later time. Second group left performance area.
April 19, 9:38 a.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of items and ID left in restroom of Dascomb. Matter under investigation.
April 20, 5:58 p.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of two males scaling the north wall at King. Subject were located and advised to come down: both complied.
April 21, 8:00 a.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of damage to a vehicle parked in Talcott Parking lot. The rear window was completely shattered and evidence of a small hole was located (pellet/BB gun). Oberlin Police Department advised several incidents of the same type had been reported throughout the City.
April 21, 2:37 p.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of non-injury motor vehicle accident Wider Parking lot. Vehicle backing from a space struck a vehicle parked at the side of the drive. Oberlin Police Department responded for a report.
April 21, 9:14 p.m.
Safety Officer responded to a theft of a wallet from Philips Gym, men's locker room. Pink or purple nylon wallet which contained $100 cash, Washington D.C. operators license, AAA card and a health club card.
April 22, 7:41 a.m.
Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of injury to an employee who was transported to Allen Memorial Hospital for treatment.
