"I sear and consume the still-beating heart of young gopher to appease the running gods."
Senior wideout Brooks-Church recorded six catches for 50 yards against Denison last Saturday. His final catch brings his total career receptions to 199, making him the new NCAC all-time reception leader. Despite the fact that the Yeomen have amassed a 1-33 record during his time here, Brooks-Church has still managed to achieve greatness. |

IN THE LOCKERROOM WITH...Daniel Romano
College junior Daniel Romano is an outfielder for the Oberlin baseball team. Two years ago, he was suspended by former coach Todd Mooney for dyeing his hair green.
I initially felt like they didn't like me very much, but then I realized that many of them don't know me. Only a couple of players from the 1997 team are still here. But I now feel as if I am a respected member of the team.
No. I see no reason to reconcile my relationship with former coach Mooney. What's in the past should remain there. I'm just here to play baseball.
Since Eric Lahetta has become coach, I have sensed quite a bit more energy and enthusiasm in practice.
Big Texas is my DJ name.
Well, I'd never seen a baseball player with green hair and, to tell you the truth, I wanted to see a baseball player with green hair.
Jack Nicholson now, or Jack Nicholson circa 1974?
Oh. Meg Ryan.
Yes. I would like to play for the Baltimore Orioles.
Carlos Perez of the Montreal Expos, because he has the vibe.
Well, he jumps around the mound a lot, which is basically what I do on my bed at night. It's fun.
