Swing your partner: Oberlin's Folk Music Club took the first steps to reviving the folk music tradition at Oberlin over the weekend with a Folk Fest, an event they hope will continue and grow in the future. The all-day event showcased 11 acts, and drew a crowd of people onto Tappan Square to enjoy the sun and music. Headliners included Josh Ritter, a senior and folk singer, Changeling, an Irish and Scottish folk duo, and Erica Wheeler, a well-known folk diva. The fest lasted all day, starting at 11a.m. and included acts from diverse traditions. (photo by Pauline Shapiro)
