"If Cody could box those plays up and sell it, he would be a millionare."
The first-year set new Oberlin College records for attempts (57) and passing yards (342) in last weekend's heartbreaking 29-27 loss to the Earlham Quakers. In only his third game here at Oberlin, he has already displayed the poise of a tried and true veteran. Perhaps senior captain Jason Ross put it best after Moffatt's most recent performance: "Chris has a great future here. He's a natural quarterback with a great feel [for the game] and a great arm."

Double your pleasure, double your fun as OC's volleyball team takes to the court in a twin bill this weekend. The Wooster game marks the first conference action the ladies have seen this year, so get out and give 'em your support.
Not many people know the man behind the numbers down at Phillips. Sports Information Director Jeff Miller keeps tallies on all varsity teams and supplies the Review with game stats, player pictures and media guides.
What are your responsibilities as Sports Information Director?
You must have a high tolerance for sports. How would you describe your own athletic background?
Did you play soccer at Baldwin Wallace?
How do you think club teams compare to varsity teams?
What do you think is unique about Oberlin athletics?
What team are you looking forward to covering?
How is your working relationship with Athletic Director Mike Muska?
Are you a Browns fan?
Do you have any season tickets for any Cleveland teams?
Did you get to hang out with the team much?
How was it working with professional athletes?
This week...
Sport: Football
What it means: An offense that features three wide receivers and a lone running back. For example, the Detroit Lions used to employ a Run 'N'Shoot offense in which Barry Sanders was the running back, complemented by three wide receivers, Herman Moore, Brett Perriman and Johnnie Morton.

IN THE LOCKERROOM WITH...Jeff Miller
The major responsibilities for me would be that I cover all the publicity for all the 21 intercollegiate teams. That would entail from doing four media guides - which would be football, both basketball teams and women's lacrosse - and then there's brochures, updating stats, writing releases and feature stories. Anything that goes on with the teams I basically have to cover.
I played soccer most of my life. I went to Baldwin Wallace College. I was a sports management major. So, I got into it from there. Then I worked in sports information as a student worker at Baldwin Wallace. I enjoyed it there as a student, and decided to get into it.
I played on the club team. I didn't play varsity.
One advantage I would say is that everyone is going to see playing time. It's more of a relaxed, fun atmosphere. I felt that I wasn't competitive enough to play intercollegiate, but each place has there certain area for a certain individual. If you enjoy the sport, then I would say play club. I did club because I enjoyed playing and wanted to keep playing. I didn't want to spend four years sitting on a varsity bench.
I think the biggest difference is that we pool our athletes from areas that most colleges wouldn't. We have athletes from the Con or that are science majors. We have athletes that you wouldn't typically consider athletes at different schools. We have kids here that want to play for fun, or want to keep playing, but are very intelligent. This isn't their career. They're here to get an education. They're playing for the love of sport.
I'm really excited to see how the women's basketball team does this year. It's been exciting this fall because Blake New is still here, but really we have only one returning fall coach. It's interesting to see how the new faces do. That's exciting because there's been a lot of change.
He's really easy to work with. This was really my first head job, so I never really had to go to the AD myself, but he made the transition for me real easy. I don't have a problem being able to go to him, and it seems that way with everyone.
No, but I'm excited that they're back. I've been a Redskins fan for some time, but I will always root for Cleveland teams. I've already been to one of their exhibition games.
No, I don't have any season tickets, but I worked for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Before I came here I worked in the media relations department. I was a seasonal assistant. That's where I basically came from.
Yeah, I was in the locker room everyday. There was an intern and myself that had to cover every practice, so we were always by the players.
Very different compared to working with student athletes. Professional athletes want their time. They know that the coverage is coming, compared to a student athlete that will love to be interviewed. You have to work to get that media coverage. It was fine. There were guys you knew not to go talk to and there were guys you knew to go talk to. Just like student athletes. You should know who you want to go talk to, and who would be perfect to talk to certain situations.
