The following is a compilation of weekly reports from the Office of Safety and Security.

Oct. 26, 11:02 a.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff member of two chairs missing from the computer lab at King. One is a blue multi-tilter ergonomic chair and the other one is a brown swivel, steel case metal chair. The chairs are valued at approximately $250 each.

Oct. 26, 1:00 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a student of the theft of her bicycle from the northwest side of Langston Hall. The bicycle, a white and purple Shimano Free Spirit, was locked to itself at the time of theft.

Oct. 26, 5:15 p.m. An officer and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Asia House. The alarm was activated by smoke from cooking.

Oct. 27, 12:55 a.m. An officer responded to a request from a resident at Noah Hall for assistance with a student ill from alcohol.

Oct. 27, 8:20 a.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff member of several flags missing from the display at the Oberlin Inn. The Israeli flag was found in Tappan Square and the Luxembourg flag was located by Oberlin Police on Main Street. Both were returned to the Grounds Department.

Oct. 27, 9:05 a.m. An officer transported a staff member to Allen Memorial Hospital for treatment of an injury received while cutting tofu.

Oct. 28, 12:30 a.m. An officer responded to a report of an underage student consuming alcohol at a party at Kade. The student was removed from the party at Kade at the request of the host.

Oct. 28, 11:59 a.m. An officer and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Harvey. The alarm was activated by smoke from burned food.

Oct. 28, 1:07 p.m. An officer transported a student from Fairchild to Allen Memorial Hospital emergency room because of illness.

Oct. 28, 10:26 p.m. An officer on patrol observed two skateboarders at Fairchild. The two non-college juveniles were advised of Oberlin College's policy regarding skateboarding and they were advised to leave the area.

Oct. 29, 12:42 a.m. An officer transported a student from Burton Hall to Allen Memorial Hospital after the student became ill from alcohol consumption.

Oct. 29, 2:10 p.m. An officer responded to a report from a student of the theft of her bicycle from Wilder Bowl. The bicycle is a turquoise Iron Horse valued at $150.

Oct. 29, 3:29 p.m. An officer and the Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in Langston Hall. The alarm was activated by smoke from incense.

Oct. 30, 7:15 a.m. An officer responded to a report from a construction employee of graffiti in several areas at the Science Center construction site. The incident is under investigation by the Safety and Security Office.

Oct. 31, 11:36 a.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff member of the theft of a full size sofa from the main floor lounge at Barrows Halls.

Nov. 1, 11:35 a.m. An officer responded to a report from a staff member of the theft of a cordless drill from a room in the Computing Center. The drill is a Makita cordless, valued at $100.

Nov. 1, 12:19 p.m. An officer transported a staff member from Stevenson Dining Hall to Allen Memorial Hospital for treatment of a facial injury.
