Brown
Paper Bag with Dean of Students
To the Editors:
I
would like to invite all interested students to attend a series
of brown bag lunches in the second half of the fall semester with
members of the Student Life staff. This will be an opportunity for
me and other administrators to hear from students about decisions
that affect the quality of their lives and educational experiences
at Oberlin. Topics might include dining, housing, diversity, sexual
offense, staffing, budgets and anything else that relates to the
quality of students’ experiences at Oberlin.
These meetings will enable students to share their perspectives
with administrators, and allow administrators an opportunity to
hear and address concerns. In addi
tion to myself, students will have the opportunity to speak with
representatives from the various departments within Student Life
and Services — the Office of the Chaplains, the Counseling
Center, the Multicultural Resource Center, Residential Life and
Dining, Safety and Security, Student Academic Services, Student
Health and the Student Union.
All of the lunches will be held from 12-1:30 p.m. in Wilder 112
on the following dates:
Nov. 14, 2002
Nov. 26, 2002
Dec. 10, 2002
Beverages will be provided. I look forward to seeing you there.
