Measures, Preprints, and Selected Papers Media Reports New York Magazine featured article by Po Bronson on lying (published 2/18/08) Good Morning America feature on lying (aired 2/12/08). Papers Parenting Style Inventory II: A Measure of Parenting Style developed in response to the Darling & Steinberg (1993) contextual conceptualization of parenting style. This measure has been used on students from 6th grade through college. This paper describes the measure and some of its measurement characteristics. If you use this measure, I would appreciate receiving a copy of your research. Please note that, like many measures of parenting style, the demandingness (control) dimension can be unstable in populations with limited variability in this dimension of parenting.
