Women’s Tennis Makes A Racket

The Oberlin College women’s tennis team secured the program’s first-ever national ranking by placing No. 30 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings. The team began the season unranked. The Yeowomen also earned the highest regional ranking in the school’s history at No. 6.

The ITA also recognized three players, the most of any Oberlin team to appear on the list. ITA ranked Brenna Sheldon ’14 at No. 19 in singles and Grace Porter ’15 and Farah Leclercq ’13 at No. 4 in doubles. Leclercq remains within the region’s top 10 in singles at No. 8.

Oberlin currently sits at 10-4 for the season.
