The following is a compilation of weekly reports from the Office of Safety and Security.

Feb. 6, 7:50 a.m. A safety and Security Officer responded to the report of an accident in Mudd Lot. There were no injuries.

Feb. 8, 5:48 a.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of a suspicious person on the third floor of Dascomb. The subject was wearing a black ski mask; no other description could be provided.

6:24 a.m. While on routine patrol a Safety and Security Officer observed graffiti on the east end of Dascomb handicap ramp. A work order was placed for clean up.

Feb. 9, 3:40 a.m. Safety and Security Officers responded to a report from Oberlin City Police that two students had been arrested. Students were arrested for alcohol consumption.

2:42 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of an injured person at Philips Gym. The subject was transported to Allen Memorial Hospital emergency room for treatment of a head wound.

Feb. 11, 11:01 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of nuisance phone calls at Burton Hall.

11:22 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of nuisance phone calls at Langston Hall.

Feb. 12, 2:30 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer took a report of a stolen knapsack from Wilder Hall Disco. Taken was a khaki beige knapsack which contained various books. The knapsack was later located in Wilder Hall game room.

7:03 p.m. Safety and Security Officers, along with Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm on the second floor of Talcott. The odor of a burned candle was observed. Alarms were reset with no further problems.

Feb. 13, 12:41 a.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of nuisance phone calls at East Hall.

Feb. 14, 1:58 a.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to the report of a sink problem at Burton Hall. The sink basin was disconnected from the wall and water was leaking. Plumbers were called for repairs.

10:03 p.m. Safety and Security Officers, along with Oberlin Fire Department, responded to a fire alarm at the Oberlin Inn. Cigarette smoke activated the alarm.

Feb. 15, 2:12 a.m. Safety and Security Officers and Oberlin Police Department Officers responded to a report of three students being assaulted. One suspect was positively identified and charges were filed.

Feb. 16, 1:56 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to the report of a broken car window in Stevenson Lot. The rear window was found to have been smashed by an unknown object. Items in the vehicle appeared to be in tact.

10:03 p.m. Safety and Security Officers and Oberlin Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Saunders. No cause for the alarm could be found and the alarms were reset.

Feb. 17, 5:36 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of an ill student in King Building. The student was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Feb. 18, 2:14 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a reported theft of an electronic scale from King. The scale was stainless steel, gray in color with LCD readout. The scale was valued at $587.00.

4:45 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to the theft of a wallet from Mudd or Asia House. The wallet was a black trifold with brown trim.

Feb. 19, 9:57 p.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to reported theft from Wilder Hall Disco. Taken were 48 CD's valued at $800.00.

Feb. 20, 2:17 a.m. A Campus Security Officer, while on patrol, observed a vehicle stuck in the lawn at Old Barrows. Damage to the lawn was estimated at $100.00.

1:50 a.m. A Safety and Security Officer responded to a report of vandalism at the Review Office in Burton Hall. The film drop off envelope had been set on fire damaging six rolls of film and charring the door.
