The Oberlin men’s and women’s ultimate frisbee teams will take on 25 different schools ranging from Middlebury to Purdue to Ohio University on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Sunday, beginning at 10 a.m.

Another No-No for Nomo

Thanks to Japan’s Hideo Nomo, the Boston Red Sox’ first win of the year was something special. Nomo threw the second no-hitter of his career, his first since 1996, by walking only three batters and striking out 11.


The Dukes of the NCAA

The Duke University men’s basketball team won their first national championship since 1992, as they beat the Arizona Wildcats 82-72 last Monday in Minneapolis. In the women’s NCAA tournament, Notre Dame won their first national championship in school history. 


Indians GM John Hart Steps Down

John Hart, the General Manager of the Cleveland Indians, announced that he will step down upon the conclusion of this season. Since Hart took over in the GM role 10 years ago, the Indians have won five division titles and made one World Series appearance.
