Thanks From the Film Festival

To the Editor:

The Environmental Film Festival, intending to channel attention toward the Spring Energy Challenge in dorms as well as to highlight international and domestic environmental perspectives in widely varying film contexts, was a big success. We thank everyone who attended the films. We hope people continue to participate in discussions such as those we facilitated, about topics such as traditional farming practices vs. modern chemical techniques, as well as about how U.S. foreign policy often results in intrusion as often as assistance, as in the example of Colombia’s coca farmers.
We thank everyone who suggested films, lent us films and helped us find space to show them, as well as everyone who contributed to publicity efforts and led discussions. Special thanks to [junior] Aaron Mucciolo for the website, [junior] Sarah Saunders, [senior] Morgan Williams, [senior] Eve Bratman and Professor Devra Davis for their contributions.
Thanks to all for enthusiasm, help and attendance!
