About
How we function
General- RPC will operate in accordance with the Cooperative Consensus Process, except in cases of conflict with this charter, in which case the charter takes precedence. RPC will file an officers list, signed by the general faculty adviser, in the Student Union Office by May 1 of each year. RPC will abide by its charter and the rules and regulations of Oberlin College.
Publicity- RPC meetings and other events will be advertised by signs posted around campus; e-mails to department listserves; and in-class announcements. Such announcements will be made at least two days before the meeting or event. Amendment Procedures: This charter allows for amendments and revisions to be made by the members of RPC on the basis of consensus voting. If necessary, amendments will be approved by the Student Senate, the Student Life Committee and the JCSC.
