The Oberlin baseball team’s home opener was rained out last week, but don’t hesistate to stop by Dill Field on Saturday and Sunday, as they will take on two opponents from Pennsylvania in two doubleheaders, with both opening games beginning at 1 p.m.

Big Ten Starts NCAA Tourney as Big Losers

After sending seven teams to the NCAA tournament, the Big Ten saw three teams get knocked out in the first round yesterday. Ohio State lost to Utah State, Wisconsin, who made it the Final Four last year, fell to Georgia State and Indiana bowed out in the first round once again, losing to Akron-based Kent State.


Hoosier Daddy Bobby?

Speaking of Indiana losing in the first round, former Hoosier Head Coach Bob Knight has brushed aside other job opportunities to focus on the head coach opening at Texas Tech University.

Venus Williams, who was scheduled to play her sister, Serena, withdrew because of tendonitis in her left knee and a severe case of being a wuss.
