The campus sexual assualt hotline has been shut down after Sexual Assault Support Team members claimed the hotline was racist.

College to buy green energy

The College is finalizing an agreement between the town and its local utility to purchase 60 percent of its electrical energy from green sources that minimize environmental damage in the process of energy production.

Oberlin baseball drops five games in four days

Since returning from their spring break trip to Ft. Myers, Fla. with a break-even record of 6-6, Eric Lahetta’s Oberlin baseball squad has dropped five out of a grueling six games in four days.

Softball wins its first game

The planets were aligned this Monday when the Oberlin women’s softball squad devoured Lorain County Community College 19-9. The victory marks Oberlin’s first victory of the season.

Last Saturday night was clearly a triumph for the members of eighth blackbird; they returned to Finney Chapel as part of the Artist Recital Series a mere eight years after forming the ensemble while at Oberlin.
